Prior to your initial Massage Therapy treatment at Grand Core Physiotherapy, your Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) will have you complete a confidential detailed health history and if necessary, perform an assessment of your current condition. The assessment may include neurological or orthopaedic tests and hands-on manipulation to identify your individual needs as well as any other factors that may be contributing to your injury or condition. Your RMT will then develop an individualized treatment plan with you to ensure that you are receiving an appropriate treatment for the condition present and answer any questions you may have. Your RMT may also include in your treatment suggestions for home care such as exercises, stretching and hydrotherapy.
At Grand Core Physiotherapy, our Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) is in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and has additional training in Swedish Massage, Deep Tissue Massage, Myofascial Release, Trigger Point Therapy, Perinatal/Pregnancy Massage, Infant Massage, Cupping Therapy and Hot Stone Massage.
